This is perhaps one of the most popular rambling Roses of recent years. The habit of growth is vigorous—about ten feet—and it makes a fine variety for an arch, pillar or screen. It comes into bloom in July and lasts over a period of about six or seven weeks. It should be pruned in September by cutting away all the old shoots that have bloomed, and only allowing the new shoots of the current year to remain. It requires no pruning in the spring. Delightfully fragrant.
