Origin:
Bred by Dr. Keith W. Zary (United States, 2000).
Introduced in United States by Jackson & Perkins Co. (post 1970) in 2002 as 'Chelsea Morning'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Shrub.  
Bloom:
Apricot or apricot blend.  Moderate, fruity fragrance.  Average diameter 4.75".  Medium, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Medium, upright.  Medium, glossy, dark green foliage.  

Height: 4' to 5' (120 to 150cm).  Width: up to 5' (up to 150cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for cut flower or garden.  Protect tender new spring growth from hard freezes that may cause canker, die-back and death of the plant. .  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood..  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .  Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).
