Lilia Weatherly. Rosa macrantha which is such a lovely single soft pink, fading to white, has produced a great variety of seedlings. Clearly it easily accepts pollen from many sources. ‘Margaret Bushby’ is very double in brick red tones fading to pale pink. Its probably pollen parent is ‘Archiduc Joseph’. It flowers only in the spring. It has produced many lovely seedlings in an array of colours, most very double and just the odd one with few petals. None of them repeats.
