Along with generally referring to a location in Finland with historical associations, the naming could also have been prompted as a commemoration of a 1927 fire at the Imatra movie theater in Tampere, Finland, in which twenty people died (while bred by Poulsen of Denmark, the rose was introduced by P. Olsson of Finland).
