Germain's Exciting 1956 Rose Introduction
Rose Marie Reid
NEW Dawn Pink Color—NEVER CAPTURED IN A ROSE BEFORE
Rose Marie Reid is an exceptionally tall, vigorous growing Hybrid Tea Rose which bears large quantities of very double flowers.
The beautifully shaped buds—long and full—open to a breathtaking dawn-pink never captured in a rose before. These long lasting flowers measure five to six inches across, and have 45 to 50 petals softly rolled back at the edges to give a rich effect.
Its exquisite blooms are set off majestically by deep green, heavily textured, leathery foliage. The bush has exceptional vigor and remarkable disease resistance, insuring an earlier blooming and a healthier, more luxuriant growth all season long. The blooms make gorgeous cut flowers because of exceptionally long stems.
Rose Marie Reid is another triumph of the gifted Milton Whisler, head of Germain's Rose Research Department. Among former outstanding Whisler creations are Easter Parade, Sun Valley, Candleglow, Amigo, and the climbing San Fernando.
Rose Marie Reid can boast of two of the most illustrious parents in rose history—Charlotte Armstrong and Katherine T. Marshall—both being of All America Vintage.
Be the first in your neighborhood to have this NEW rose sensation.
