Rosa lutea...Johannisfeuer (Türke 1910). Suitable for very front planting in Lutea-groups, as she is their most beautiful complement, as she (blooming until frost) hides the lkower parts of the shrubs behind her with her large, haealthy, dark green foliage. The large, full HT-blooms are of indescribable bright bean blossom red, base golden-yellow; extraordinarily effectful.

Johannisfeuer. (Princesse de Béarn X Jaune bicolor.) Diese eigenartige Rose erbte von beiden Eltern die Farben, und diese vermischten sich aufs herrlichste, so dass jeder, der sie sah, entzückt war. Der Wuchs ist stark, die jungen Triebe verraten die lutea-Abstammung, sonst bat sie den Charakter der Remontantrosen. Die Knospen erscheinen zu dreien oder einzeln. Die Blume ist gross und gut gefüllt. Die Earbe zu beschreiben ist nicht leicht. Aus breitem goldigem Grunde entsteigt ein eigenartiges Rot, ähnlich der Bohnenblüte, wie wohl selten bei einer ändern Rose. Die Blütendauer einer Blume ist lang, oft 8
Tage, sie remontiert gut und ist sehr hart und gesund. Für Landschaftsgärtner und Liebhaber als Idealrose von grösstem Werte als Strauch.
