Bred by Rev. Joseph Hardwick Pemberton (United Kingdom, before 1927).
Introduced in United Kingdom by J & A Bentall /Brokenback Roses in 1927 as 'Bernice'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1929 as 'Bernice'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Carmine-pink.  Outer petals pinkish cream.  Moderate, tea rose fragrance.  Medium to large, semi-double (9-16 petals), globular, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.
