P170. Elizabeth Fankhauser. HT. (D. A. Fankhauser ’65) ‘Ma Perkins’ x ‘Burnaby’. Large long-pointed bud. Pure porcelain pink, finely edged deep crimson, high-centered, very double blooms borne singly and several together on long, strong stems. Very good lasting quality; petals drop off cleanly. Slight fragrance. Abundant, dark green leathery, glossy foliage. Reddish brown, disease-resistant foliage. Medium height, compact habit. Free, continuous bloomer.

Mr. D. Fankhauser has also raised many new cultivars. Some of his creations are available to the public for the first time this year. These include Betano Beach, a Hybrid Tea of deep coral pink coloring and Elizabeth Fankhauser, another Hybrid Tea of soft pink deepening towards the edges.
