10/22/15, Columbus, OH. Color is tough to describe and nearly impossible to capture on film: deep, velvety red undershot with orange. The orange is apparent in this picture, bloom a little tattered from recent heavy winds. The foliage is some of the most glossy, shiny foliage I have ever seen, definitely inherited from 'All That Jazz.'
