Although I don't see it listed here on HMF anywhere, I was thinking that Macho Man was a fairly successful exhibition rose and was also used some for hybridyzing by some rosarians.
Does anyone know for sure??

Lyn, I still don't see any evidence of Mach Man being used for hybridyzing or as and exhibition rose using your link that you provided. It just took me to the Macho Man HMF site where I was already at.

Hi John..........

Ooops ! I misread your query. I thought you meant that you didn't find 'Macho Man' in the HMF database. So far, no one has reported any rose show results for MM. Here is a url I found on the ARS website that might help:

Wal-Mart is selling this rose as bagged-and-waxed bareroot
( 1/2004, at least in Florida), supplied by Certified Roses
(the coimpany that introduced it).. Supposed to have a
strong fragrance (as is common for roses of its color).
