'Anémone Ancienne' rose Description

Bloom:
Carmine-pink, pink outer petals, lilac shading. Mild fragrance. Small, very double, in small clusters, cupped, quartered bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.
Habit:
Medium green foliage.
Height: 4¼' to 4'7" (130 to 140cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood.. Prune after flowering is finished.

Notes:
Mike Lowe of Lowe's Roses says the breeder is Toutain and describes the flowers as soft lilac-rose, tinged with a darker hue, well-formed, very double and quartered... Sangerhausen describes the color of the bloom as pink with violet pink.
