Very interesting about the availability of this rose, first announced as for sale in 1894; then it disappears until Guillot offers it in 1900 (p. 9 of that year's catalog, with the usual description); then a few years pass and the Journal des Roses and everyone else seems to think it's a rose of 1904. There's a story here somewhere behind this.
