1888 Manetti Varieties. Head Forester Geschwind has cultivated some varieties from Rosa Manetti, the well-known rose which is very much used as an understock, which could find use not only as hardy garden roses...as they bloom more faithfully and floriferously than the parent form, but can also be used for the same purpose - as an understock.

Like Gloire de Dijon, but more floriferous and pure yellow, much more magnificent in colouring than Belle Lyonnaise. This rose has bloomed magnificently here last year in good culture. Valuable for forcing.
