Climbing. Glossy, dark green foliage.
Height: 9'10" to 13'1" (300 to 400cm).

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Very vigorous.

The September 2007 issue of The New Zealand Heritage Rose Journal reports how New Zealand rosarians compared the rose in commerce there as May Queen to Edmond Proust in Sangerhausen and la Roseraie de l'Häy. It appears the rose called May Queen in New Zealand is indeed Edmond Proust.
