Origin:
Bred by Victor Girardon (France, 1828).
Class:
Centifolia.  
Bloom:
Light pink, violet shading.  Strong fragrance.  Average diameter 3.5".  Medium to large, double (17-25 petals), in small clusters, open bloom form.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, upright.  Large, matte, dark green foliage.  5 leaflets.  

Height: 2' to 3' (60 to 90cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
