One reporter thinks 'Taupo' to be just a variation of 'Liverpool Echo' good but uninteresting. However most reporters like this rose, as the rosey / orange blooms are always eye-catching, even if they do age to a red in the sun. Some areas report good repeat, others slow. North Otago say it doesn't like rains as like 'Liverpool Echo' the heads droop. Again some areas report it to grow tall almost two metres, but for most it reaches about the metre.
