Bloom:
Pink. Mild fragrance. 30 petals. Average diameter 4.75". Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered to flat bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Large, long, pointed, ovoid buds.
Habit:
Tall, upright, well-branched. Large, glossy, dark green, dense, leathery foliage. 5 to 7 leaflets.
Height: 3' to 7' (90 to 215cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer. Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden. Vigorous. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .

No. 8,618, with an unnamed seedling.

Source: KORilisCarlton Rose Nursery says this rose is a bright medium to dark pink, has a nice form, long stems, and likes high light... Parentage information comes from the US Patent for this rose. According to the patent, the breeding objective was "to produce a rose variety having the good vase life and good yield of the female parent combined with the large bud and flower size and long stems of the orange red hybrid tea male seedling." Blooms last 6 to 7 days on the plant and 10 to 12 days in a vase. Please note that as of January 2012, we are not aware of anyone selling this variety in North America as a garden rose. The Kordes Eliza that is commercially available is Eliza (Koraburg). Parentage reported in the Australian Patent (Angelique x Alexander Harkness) and the US Patent (Saphir x seedling) differ.
