My daughter bought me this rose and I am very impressed.  It is spreading and seems very disease resistant.  Well worth growing.

FYI

Elisio was bred in the Republic of Georgia and it is cane hardy to Zone 5, which means no die back. I planted mine last year and it bloomed all summer. It has the truest pink of any bloom I have ever seen on a rose. I live in the MidWest and mine started leafing out about two weeks ago, another sign it is cold hardy. It is classed as a shrub rose.. You will love it!

Elisio is registered as a Shrub and so should be hardy to zone 5, but I would still make sure it is mounded up to about 12 inchehigh all around the base with compost or soil, just to be on the safe side. It is an attractive little rose bush that does repeat and also has a good fragrance.

I bought Elisio last year at Walmart. It survived the harsh winter without protection. It bloomed a couple times last year. Not spectacular. This year it is spreading. It seems to be like a ground cover.
