Bred by Nicola Welter (Germany, 1904).
Introduced in Australia by Henry Sewell, Payneham Nurseries in 1906 as 'Albert Hoffmann'.

Bloom:
Yellow blend, pink edges, white edges.  Strong fragrance.  Very large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Notes:
Albert Hoffmann (1846 Hackpfüffel - 1924) was one of the initators of the Rosarium Sangerhausen, which was built on land donated by him.
