Introduced in United Kingdom by R Harkness & Co. Ltd. as 'Princess of Wales'.
Class:
Floribunda.  
Bloom:
White or white blend.  Mild to strong, strong fragrance.  Double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:

Height: 32" (80cm).  Width: 2' (60cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .  Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).

For each 'Princess of Wales' rose sold through their 1998/1999 catalog, Harkness made a donation to the British Lung Foundation.


Princess of Wales was one of the new varieties being added to the RINZ Rose Display Trial at the Auckland Regional Botanic Gardens in 1999.
