Book  (2000)  Page(s) 90.

Dickson, UK, 1986. RNRS President’s International Trophy 1983 + Belfast Certificate of Merit 1988 + Glasgow Certificate of Merit 1990.

Ards Beauty (DICjoy) CLuster-flowered... a very good yellow rose... 'Ards Beauty' took its raiser by surprise when it won the RNRS President's Trophy for the best new rose of 1983. At the time Patrick Dickson had only fifteen plants in stock, having not yet decided whether to introduce it. So, with rose-lovers clamoring for it, it could not be intoduced until 1986. ('Eurorose' x 'Whisky Mac') x 'Bright Smile'

Colin Horner, What's New in the U.K.
In their floribunda 'Ards Beauty' (Dicjoy) and small H.T. 'Freedom' (Dicjem), both Gold Medal winners at St. Albans in 1983, they have two beautiful colour stable yellows which are and will continue to be much in demand.

E. F. Allen, Awards To New Rose Seedlings In Great Britain In 1983.
A Gold Medal and the President's International Trophy were awarded to 'Ards Beauty', DICjoy [('Eurorose' x 'Whisky Mac') x 'Bright Smile'], a small flowered variety with deep yellow flowers on a dwarf bush. It has a strong scent and would once have been categorized as an HT-type Floribunda but not, I think, as an HT.

DICjoy - (['Eurorose' x 'Whisky Mac'] x 'Bright Smile'), a large flowered rose, by Pat Dickson, with dark yellow flowers on a dwarf bush. The scent is often strong and I marked it highly in spite of a trace of black spot. Trial Ground Certificate, for second year seedling.
