I would like to buy online/mail order one of the 'Isabella' Rose varieties, (but not a miniture) preferably to keep in a pot (no matter what size the pot may need to be!). First choices would be -Isabella Gallica, Isabella d'Este, Isabella Renaissance. Can anyone help/recommend a supplier please? With thanks, Fiona.

If you click the BUY FROM tab you will find a list of nurseries offering this rose. Please consider patronizing one of our sponsor nurseries.

I think I am growing Isabelle Renaissance, but lost the tag. This rose has med/dark green leaves, is disease free, and double velverty dark red bloom at the ends of extremely long canes. I do not prune back severly in the winter, but this bush has canes that are 8-10 ft high and are strong, thick, with short straight pink thorns and growing straight up. The hips are yellow to light orange and round with a flat top. Do you think this is Isabelle Renaissance? Help!!

Yes, your description sounds exactly like my two Isabelle Renaissances. A beautiful rose that doesn't fade, like many reds, in the full sun.

Try Regans Nursery in Fremont. That is where I got mine about 3 yrs ago. Good Luck.
