A Certificate of Merit was awarded to Chorus GirI ('Highlight' x seedling). This Hybrid Tea-type Floribunda, by Robinson, has bright vermilion-red flowers which age to a pinker shade. It is vigorous and free-flowering and looked particularly attractive in August when growing conditions were at their worst. This seedling won a Trial Ground Certificate last year but was named only recently.
