Photographed in my Idaho garden on October 13, 2012. This bloom is at least 5" and smelled wonderful in the cooler fall weather. This plant has been a little stingy on bloom quantity (frequency is great), but it's only three years old (own root), so perhaps in 2013 we'll see more flowers.
