I remember an experienced member of our ARS chapter saying there were two versions of this rose. The one commonly available, he said, is lighter in color and stronger-necked than the original. He preferred the original. I would like to obtain this first form if indeed it exists for a hybridizing project. Does anyone know about this? Thanks.	REPLY

I'm no expert, but is it possible that another rose has been mis-identified Charlotte Armstrong? A salmon pink rose named Charlotte was introduced a year before Charlotte Armstrong. Pictures of the paler, salmon "Charlotte Armstrong" look like they could be "Charlotte."	REPLY
