Deep pink to cerise. Spectrum-red, nasturtium fragrance. Moderate, lemon fragrance. 35 petals. Average diameter 3.5". Medium to large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Long, pointed buds.
Habit:
Compact. Dark green, leathery foliage.
Height: up to 4¼' (up to 130cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.
Notes:
Weeks Roses 1999-2000 Catalog says this rose was a breakthrough in her day because of her long classic buds, her large lovely flowers, and her ease-of-growth... she prefers cool spring and fall conditions... Charlotte Ann Cooper Armstrong (1866 - 1948), was the wife of John S. Armstrong.
