'Tommy Thompson' rose Reviews & Comments

"Tommy Thompson is a more intense version of Tropicana. It has the same inner glow as Tropicana, but with more fire, so that it looks like a red hot poker aglow on an EXIT sign all lit up. It has all the virtues of Tropicana, form, size , number of petals, and so on, and it does not fade. It is also hardier than Tropicana (which is to be expected since Queen of the Lakes is a Brownell "Sub-Zero" rose.) And, in my garden, it is more floriferous than Tropicana. I have nothing but praise for it..." Dr. Casmir Mekdeci in a letter to Percy Wright, June 27, 1975,
