Bred by Nicolas Lémon (France, before 1818).

Class:

Hybrid / Species crosses.

Patents:

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).

Parentage:

Edulis fragrans × Lobata

Notes:

Lémon reports that grains of the species cross Edulis fragrans x lobata, sowed 1818, produced 2 double seelings which first flowered in 1823: 1. light pink, 6-7"; 1. white, 7". Grains of these were in turn sowed 1827 and produced first flowers in 1833.
