Seashell-pink, lilac shading, silver(y) highlights, darker flecks. . Cream center. Mild, rose fragrance. Average diameter 5". Medium to large, very double, bomb bloom form. Early.

Notes:
Verdier's 'Docteur Bretonneau' was first described as a very large, very full, vivid pink, bombé flower when first introduced.
It is likely that the light pink flower confused with Kelway's 'Lady Leonora Bramwell' was Guérin's 'Dr. Bretonneau', not Verdier's peony of the same name.
