Hello! What a wonderful contribution you are offering the rose community. THANK YOU! I want you to know that someone out there thinks you are doing something find and in excellent style! Just a thought. You are likely aware that roses grown in Nematode Country (the South) benefit from Fortuneana root stock. They will then tend to last 20 or 30 years instead of 1 or 2 on the standard root stocks such as Dr. Huey. The question is then where to find someone not just who grows a certain rose, but who makes it available on Fortuneana root stock. Today I looked up two I definitely want -- Great Century and Sultry -- but as of the moment have no source for them on Fortineana. If you showed such a source under 'Buy From" this would be a plus for us down here in the south. Thanks again and keep up the good work!

You can enter both roses on your HMF wish list and we will email you when a nursery indicates that they are carrying your rose in their inventory.
btw... I have read that by treating the soil with pine bark you can solve your root nematode problem. This was done in the Texas growing fields years ago and allowed them to become a major producer of roses for the rose industry.
Smiles, Lyn
