Rose Listing Omission

St Ethelburga

This lovely Peter Beale Rose is not listed

St. Ethelburga (Shrub Rose)
Repeat Flowering
Very fragrant
Peter Beales Modern Classic
(Modern Classic shrub) A healthy and vigorous, soft pink, highly scented rose in the old fashioned style of large, double, cupped blooms. Tolerant of poorer soils. Can be grown in a container, as a hedge or as a small climber. It is also suitable for taking cut flowers. This rose is a perfect alternative to 'Gertrude Jekyll' or 'Mary Rose' which we no longer stock. Bred by Beales.

We were delighted to introduce this rose at the request of The Worshipful Company of Gardeners. It is named for the church of the same name in Bishopsgate London. Largely destroyed by an IRA bomb in 1993, it is now restored and a Centre for Peace and Reconciliation.
