According to Nomenclature the information on this rose should be: 1915

Bred by Hendrikus "Hens" Antonie Verschuren (1844-1918)
(Netherlands 1915)
Hybrid Tea.
Light yellow, copper shading.

Unnamed seedling x Souvenir du Président Carnot

And I think, as my great-grandfather Hens had a number of descendants with the same name (and even the same initials)....it might be wise to adapt the credits of his roses to 'Bred by Hendrikus "Hens" Antonie Verschuren (1844-1918)'....just my insight arisen while writing our jubileebook

Seed parent corrected, thank you! Do you have a reference for the date of 1915?

I have just seen this news announcement from Pépinière Brochet Lanvin... 'Nous fermons notre pépinière et écoulons nos derniers stocks.' It is not clear whether their Jardin botanique de la Presle, which has a good collection of roses, will be continued.

Is there a page where I can post photos of my rose and ask if anyone can identify it?

Try going back into your first posting, click on Edit Post, a Post photo/s button will have appeared. Add your photos, and the whole posting will be on the Q & A forum. You'll need to add to the text, as much as you can tell readers about the rose: how big is the flower (roughly), are the backs of the petals the same colour as the front, spring only or repeat-flowering, how big is the bush, (or is it a climber), scented?, does it set hips, does it have many prickles, does it sucker, do you have any idea of age, where is it growing. Photos - full face of flower, side-on of bud, side on of stem with prickle/s, leaves, whole bush, hip if any.

Or starting from scratch, as far as I remember the sequence:
Post >question> choose Plant identification from the dropdown list. Then write your question, and click on Continue: you will then be asked for a topic. Choose What is this? from the dropdown list, and click on Continue. Then go back into your posting ( click on Edit Post), and a Post photo/s button will have appeared. Add your photos and the description, and the whole posting will be on the Q & A forum.
