Where can I find an Evelyn rose plant or cuttings?

If you start with the menu on the left of the screen, click on Search/lookup under Plants. Then click on rose at the top of the screen, to the left, if need be. Then type in the name of the rose you're looking for. Then click on the option you want, and a page for that rose will come up. Then click on Buy From at the top right of the screen.
It's easy when you get used to it!

I just found out the the 'Delete' button at the top of each PM conversation page doesn't just delete that conversation.
It deletes _every_ _private_ _message_ _you_ _have_ _ever_ _received_!!
That, to phrase it delicately, is not quite the expected behaviour. It is certainly interesting behaviour, but perhaps somewhat less than optimal. I think that if you are going to have it behave that way it would be a very good idea to mention it on the 'Site Features' page.
Edit: Aha! It doesn't, but the current behaviour is still VERY misleading.
If I delete the oldest PM conversation (which hasn't been relevant for ages) I get the following message:
''No current private messages for your member account. If you also have a listing (nursery, breeder, etc.) you should check the Private Messages tab there too.''
Note the first sentence. It clearly says there are no private messages. The page this notice is on reinforces that message, because even if you refresh the page there are still no private messages shown (at all).
However, having gone away overnight and checked my PM's again this morning, I now find that the rest of them are still there.
So... the problem is the highly misleading message that is persistent through page refreshes.

There's something odd going on with the site's handling of url's in comments.
For example, yesterday I posted a url for 'Pink Peace' on the Knight's Roses site. No problem. The url just displays in the comment, as you would expect. See - /gardening/l.php?l=2.4838.0
Today I went to post comments about 'Gruss an Teplitz' and 'Safrano' being available from Ross Roses. The comments would not be displayed unless I broke up the url with spaces. See - /gardening/l.php?l=2.3131.0 - and - /gardening/l.php?l=2.5580.0
Both nurseries are listed on this site, so should be acceptable as links. You appear to have a bug hiding somewhere. :)
------------------------------------------------------------ PS: Somewhat related (also to do with url's) but a feature request rather than a bug per se...
This may have been mentioned and thought about over the years, but since each comment has an ID set in the database it would be great if this was also an accessible anchor in the GUI markup. That way people could link to individual comments in discussions, instead of just being restricted to linking to the description page for the rose in question. Offhand I can't see this being a huge deal to code, and I think it's worth considering at some point. It's standard functionality for most forums.
------------------------------------------------------------ PPS: Aha! You can already do it if you know how to use the browser's document inspector. For example, under 'Pink Peace' you can grab the .threadLnk ID to link directly to a thread (example - /gardening/l.php?l=2.4838.0&tab=32#t140527) and you can grab the div.qc ID to link directly to a particular comment (example - /gardening/l.php?l=2.4838.0&tab=32&qn=1&qc=0#q48084).
So, no problem if you know a few tech tricks and don't mind messing around a bit, but a black art for the average user. And the relevant ID''s are already being called from the database, so all that is required is a minor markup change in a template or two. Then your Aunt Nelly could do direct links even after several G & T's. :)
I think I'll write a brief tutorial on this workaround. It's easy to implement on desktop* once it's explained, and it may be useful to some members.
*It's possible to do it on touchscreen too, at least on Android, but it's probably more trouble than most members would want to know about.

Admins, it’s been three days since I paid the $24 for premium membership. I have PayPal confirmation of payment. However, I still cannot access any of those features. I’ve also logged in/out several times to no avail. Please help, thanks!

I have updated your account status while we look into this.
Can you please forward your PayPal confirmation to the support department so we review our PayPal records to find the source of the problem. This usually is caused by having multiple HMF member accounts and we may need to combine them.
Last but not least, thank you for your support.

Thank you for your help! I have looked everywhere on HMF for the support department or an email address to resolve this issue but can’t find it. I will gladly forward the PayPal confirmation email if you can tell me how to contact the support department.

On the left, the top box SITE FEATURES, open, then on the right CONTACT US. Open that and there it is.

Thank you Patricia. I found the support email and sent PayPal confirmation.
Dear HMF Admins, the hidden placement of the contact tab is counterintuitive and NOT user friendly. Please have a dedicated floating “contact us” button at the bottom of the main vertical menu bar on the left, or imbedded in the help (?) symbols floating on the upper right corners. I seriously spent 30 minutes yesterday looking at every menu link and not being able to find the email. Therefore, I had to resort to posting on the forums.
