Bloom:
Deep yellow. Moderate fragrance. 24 to 26 petals. Average diameter 2.75". Medium, double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered, globular bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Ovoid buds.
Habit:
Medium, few or no prickles/thorns, upright. Medium, matte, medium green, leathery foliage. 3 to 7 leaflets.
Height: 2' to 32" (60 to 80cm). Width: 18" to 22" (45 to 55cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower, garden, hedge, landscape or rock garden. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

The present invention relates to a new and distinctive cultivar of rose plant of the Floribunda class, which was originated by my crossing `Kika` as the seed parent with the unamed seedling ((Basildon Bond.times.Arthur Bell).times.Midas Touch)) as the pollen parent. The cultivar name of this plant is designated as `Hadcup`. It is being marketed under the commercial name of `Smooth Buttercup`.
