Agriculture Canada Research Station, Ottawa, Ontario [From Applied Mutational Breeding for Vegetatively propagated Crops, by C. Broertjes, 1988, p. 198:] Chan (1966) irradiated five cultivars (Peace, Queen Elisabeth, Better Times, Baccara and Tropica) and found several mutations that affected flower colour and growth habit after X-ray doses of 70-80 Gy or higher.
