i live almost as far south in louisiana as you can go. it stays very hot and humid in the summer, and every rose gets blackspot. even those that are supposedly resistant. no amount of spraying seems to help. so i've just learned to accept that my roses will always have spots and to love them anyway. it's not always so bad. it comes and goes in cycles. a good thing about the weather is that my roses bloom almost year round.

this rose is beautiful and makes very large flowers. mine has shot up to about 4 ft tall-almost as tall as i am!

every bloom on this rose is a different color. it makes clusters of roses, which is very pretty with the blooms ranging from dark purple to a lighter purple red. some of the flowers even have a range of colors in a single bloom. it is very pretty and smells good too.
