A typical example of the range of pollen sizes from 'Nurse Tracey Davies'. As you can see, it would appear this cultivar is triploid. It has produced hips for me in controlled crosses, so would appear to be a fertile triploid yellow that could prove useful with diploids.

Broadlands pollen. There's quite quite a bit of junk pollen produced and pollen shed isn't great. But it is fertile, and looking at the pollen diameter it's most likely a diploid.
