I have lived in Seattle since 1976 and gardened here since 1981. The Pacific Northwest is beautiful and has a great climate for gardening: cold enough for lilacs and warm enough for Kahili ginger. Climate change has messed with our springs (which used to last from February through June), but so far gardening is still great here.
