Photos dont do the leaves justice. they are elegant, large, and remind me of Shakespearian plays. They are romantic and feel old world. Out of bloom it would even be a beautiful shrub.

2nd year. Gorgeous deep tangerine orange with yellow not read undertones and a slight red overcast on aged petals. The petals reflex to sharp points and the forms is beautiful. No scent I can sense. early season the flowers are 3inches or so and later on are MUCH smaller. I will report back on year 2 summer with photo comparisons. I love this color. It's really a strong non red orange not falling into the red category. If I can get my first year prominent to bloom next summer I want to compare them as they seem to be very similar though Marina has less thorns.

Full bush straight for the nursery. beautifully shaped shrub with gorgeous medium to light green leaves of a huge size. Flowers are HUGE and have a globe form with high center. I hope she keeps this up because I have never really looked at these soft color flowers and been so thrilled.

Photo in nursery pot a few days after purchase before planting. Beautiful lavender that doesn't fade. New plant for my garden but solar in the searing sun no fading at all. clusters of large ruffled flowers. Appears more pink in photos and direct sun (weirdly not always) but in the morning and any overcast its a stunning blue lavender. not much scent but the color makes up for it for me. East Coast use zone 7b first year. Lots of thrips, weak necks that add to the charm of this rose. Even the rain batters cutter petals really make this rose a knock out. Soft beautiful scent. I HIGHLY recommend so far. Foliage photos to come.
