Please take a look at the two images I posted yesterday under the name 'Marchioness of Londonderry'. The image of the rose taken in 1971 is the rose as I remember it, essentially a white rose. The image taken this year is very different in color. Is it possible that they are the same rose?

The 1971 photo looks like a white HP to me. I wonder if the pink rose in commerce as 'Marchioness of Londonderry' is even a HP, and it's certainly very consistently pink for a rose that should be white to ivory-white HP.
I suspect that the pink rose is an impostor, but a pretty one.

This rose has grown in my garden for over thirty years; it is POTENTLY fragrant, with a fragrance which is free on the air and can be sensed far from the plant.
