I love this rose. In my entire garden ( at the time was over 300 roses) it was my healthiest and favorite. It has health, disease resistance, hardiness, fragrance and garden beauty! I bought mine from Pat at Roses Unlimited and soon learned the history of this rose! The clear pink color is so pure and beautiful. Highly recommend this rose to beginners as well as old rosarians!

I just bought Quietness. Can you tell me if it is a once blooming? Does it grow in a mounding form? How big and wide? I live in zone 6a and have no idea where I will be placing it. I have a morning sun spot I am thinking of. Any photos of the plant would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Colleen

Hi Colleen! This garden was retired over 6 years ago and the roses were mostly all donated to rose society members and friends around the valley. What I remember if it as I said: Constant Bloomer, hardy, Fragrant, disease resistant and stunning garden rose. It looks like all the pictures that are in the files on HMF. I remember it being quite upright to 5 or 6 feet and 3-4 feet wide. This garden was also 6A and I never had issues with it! Hope that helps. All the best Amy Dohmen

Amy, thank you so much for responding. How wonderful that your were able to find good homes for your Roses! Your information helps me a great deal. I was beginning to having made a few purchases from ARE because I couldn’t remember where I thought they should be placed. This helps me. Looking forward to posting my own photos someday. Thanks again, Colleen

You are welcome! Anytime. My current garden is under the AzRoseLady! This one is kept because of the amount of rose information that is contained within. Thank you AmyDohmen

I also did research on Simsalabim. I have wanted it forever and could never get my hands on it. The word is Scandinavian in origin. Appeared in a America in the 1900 used in a magic show, by a magician named Dante. And yes Sim Sala Bim = Abracadabra.
Funny I had some thought about how much Simsalabim pictures looked like my Abracadabra! Thank you Kim for bringing this up.

It is under Floribunda. That is its current classification. https://forloveofroses.com/product-category/floribunda-roses/

Hi all, The roses I bought a while back are now giving nice roses. The colors are great, I've never seen anything like that before (Abracadabra). The one thing I didn't know was the size of the roses, they are tiny. I am a bit disappointed about that. Can you guys refer me to a place where I can get the Abracadabra roses?? But, bigger size, normal size I would say. The ones I have are like inch and a half across, at the most. Thanks in advance,

I love Abracadabra. She has the most amazing colors. Unfortunately, the size you are describing is normal for this rose. She was re-classified as a floribunda for this reason.. Just enjoy her as she is!!

Yellow has never been my favorite color for a rose, but Golden Arctic will change your mind. She is gorgeous and pumps out huge yellow fragrant blooms that range from creamy to dark yellow as she ages. And her fragrance for me is delicious. She is always first to bloom for me in the spring. Her only downfall is a bout with spring mildew but overcomes once the heat hits here. I am Zone 6 Idaho. No spray garden

Can you please tell me about the size and growth habit? HMF says it is a climber on the description page but lists the size as 4 1/2' there which sounds like a shrub.

I know longer own her nor do I live in Idaho. But she was more of a tall shrub. I saw her at her largest maybe 8 foot. I found her easy to control. Are you going to be able to find a plant? She is somewhat rare.

Thank you for the size info! Greenmantle nursery seems to have her.
Like you, yellow roses are not usually my favorites ~ so I am intrigued to try this one based on your comment.
