In my garden, 'DayDream' and 'Mothersday' are always the first to bloom. This is 'DayDream' from April 24, 2009, in my Durham, NC USA garden.

I just planted this 'Lady Banks' last year and it has thrown canes maybe 10' or more tall. I'm happy to have roses starting to open so early in the season - they started opening yesterday, March 31. |
