The picture was taken in the spring of 2007 in Katy TX, zone 9. She is approx. 6 years old bush from Sequoia Nursery. The growth habit is very similar to Merchesa Boccella with bigger and sharper thornes, and the stem is stiffer. The flower color gets washed off to white when it is hot or when the bloom ages. Balls badly in spring. Very slight rose fragrance.
