1. Who was Mme Leonie Viennot?
2. Does anyone know anything about the 1891 hybrid perpetual 'Monsieur de Morand'? (How tall and wide does it grow? Will it tolerate any shade? Who was Morand?)

I can't promise you will have a better shot at getting answers but it would be better if you posted questions about specific plants using the Questions & Comments tab for those plants. That way any resulting discussions will be linked to and displayed with the respective plant.

At rosarosam's website http://www.rosarosam.com/articles/lloyd_chapman/souvenir_de_mme_leonie_viennot.htm it says that Mme Leonie Viennot was the wife of a rose breeder who created only one rose (that is one that is still known).
