Bloomed early June, in half day shade. This was its first spring in the ground. It has more petals than Green Lotus, and they reflex backward as the blossom ages.

A very clean, generally compact plant. It starts out the year mounded (shown) but then gets a bit taller as the summer goes on. Ends up 24-30 inches tall.

In our zone (5) it comes back from the ground each year; it stays columnar, but only reaches 4 feet or so, and needs no support.

A picture of this plant being shovel pruned. It was a LOVELY plant, with glossy disease free foliage, lovely buds, and horrible, ugly, vegetative centers on every single blossom.

Very upright form, typical hybrid tea, but no bare knees for me. Deeply resents having taller canes cut back.

A very strong growing, very upright plant. Puts on very thick canes in one year; dies to the ground each winter and is 4 feet or so by fall. Disease resistant, leathery matte foliage. This had vegetative centers for its first 3 years, but last year finally had lovely flowers. Doesn't scorch.

A very clean, very upright bush. Here it is shown in front of Chicago Peace. This is early in the year; its mature height is 24-30 inches or so for me.
