This plant produces hips and seeds that are easy to grow. I have grown a seedling that is very much like the parent plant, but it seems to have more petals in the flower. The colour is similar too, pink/red fading to mauve. It was open pollinated. Like the parent, it is prone to powdery mildew, but resistant to most other things. It is a once a year flower. I am very happy with the results I got.
