Photographed in June 2009. This plant is growing on its own roots in HEAVY clay soil and is now about 5 years old. It receives only some supplemental watering and rarely some fertilizer. It stands about 6 feet tall at the very highest point. For me, this is one of the very few truly outstanding modern HT type roses.
