Last night I attempted to add comments on additionsl roses discovered in Persia by Nancy Lindsay. However, after entering my comments the HMF program would not allow me to continue and my feeling is that my comments were deleted. The odd thing was after typing in my comments and clicking on continue the HMF program then said I must choose a category from "the dropdown list" without identifying what list was intended. The lists I looked at didn't seem to apply. Seems odd to set a condition for entering/continuing after one has typed in a long comment. Also, the whole category of discovered roses is unclear. One only discovers it by guessing that it might be inside of Breeders.

Sounds like we have a new problem - we'll sort it out and let you know what we find.

Fred,

The problem has been corrected. The error was caused by a change we made sometime ago when we combined the breeder and discoverer lists into one.

You're all set, sorry for the inconvenience. Most of all, thanks for sharing your insight and experience.

Thank you. I also tried to tell you by comment that I had posted information on a rose not on HMF, 'Sharastanek', one of Miss Lindsay's rose foundlings in Persia. It was not clear if my message was received or is in process. There was no immediate posting as there has usually been in posting comments. Is there a way to determine if my submission is in process or lost?

It's in the process. Sometimes it can take a few days to catch up on old posts. We take no offense at reminders.
