Dr. Reimann-Philipp (d. 1995) Director of the Institut für Zierpflanzenzüchtung in Ahrensburg, Germany. The Institute closed in 2005.
Dr. Reimann-Phillipp's roses were named many years after his death by a group of people who discovered the original plantings. We do not know what Reimann-Philipp called them. Cuttings of the "Ahrensburg" roses were taken in August 2006 and later. The area is now covered with the housing project "Wilde Rosen" (Wild Roses).
