Baskerville, Canada, 1997 ('Fru Dagmar Hastrup' x 'Roseraie de l'Haÿ') Semi-double, delightfully fragrant, mauve-crimson flowers produce a major flush in June followed by reliable repeat bloom throughout the summer. The foliage is mid-green and healthy. Dead-heading is not required as it keeps blooming, producing attractive hips in the autumn. Nicely shaped shrub to about 4' x 4' (1.2M x 1.2).

This rambler is definitely for those in the warmer areas of Zone 5 and for Zone 6 and up. Lower zones can only expext this to be a shrub from year to year.
